Easy Steps to Download Your e-PAN Card
Obtaining a digital copy of your PAN card is a straightforward process through the NSDL portal. Here's how you can generate and download your e-PAN:
Visit the NSDL e-PAN Portal: Navigate to the NSDL e-PAN download page at https://www.onlineservices.nsdl.com/paam/requestAndDownloadEPAN.html.
Provide Necessary Information:
PAN Number: Enter your Permanent Account Number.
Aadhaar Number: Input your Aadhaar number (for individuals).
Date of Birth: Select your birth month and year.
Consent and Verification:
Agree to the consent statement regarding the use of your Aadhaar data.
Complete the CAPTCHA to confirm you're not a robot.
Click "Submit" to proceed.
OTP Authentication:
Choose to receive a One-Time Password (OTP) via your registered email ID, mobile number, or both.
Generate the OTP and enter it upon receipt to verify your identity.
Payment:
A nominal fee of ₹8.26 (including GST) is charged for generating the e-PAN.
Proceed with the payment using your preferred method.
After successful payment, a transaction success message will appear, displaying the transaction reference number and bank reference number.
Download e-PAN:
After payment, click "Continue" to proceed.
You can generate and print your payment receipt.
Your e-PAN card will be sent to your registered email address.
The e-PAN PDF is password-protected; the password is your date of birth in the format DDMMYYYY.
Ensure that your Aadhaar details are up-to-date and linked to your PAN for a seamless experience. This digital version of your PAN card is as valid as the physical one and can be used for all official purposes.
